You’ll create your own unique ceramic floral tile using a variety of flowers and techniques. No two pieces will be the same.
What you’ll learn:
How to keep tiles flat and prevent cracking
Proper compression and drying techniques
How to build and attach floral elements
Creating strong, balanced compositions
How to use tools (and your hands) effectively
Techniques using wire, cookie cutters, silicone moulds
Simple but powerful methods for creating petals and textures
What you’ll get on the day:
Step-by-step guidance from start to finish
A choice of different flowers and styles to work from
Freedom to create your own composition and design
A calm, plant-filled studio environment
Drinks, snacks, and a relaxed atmosphere
A lunch break (with a café on site)
What you’ll leave with:
Your own handmade ceramic floral tile (made during the session)
Knowledge of the full process (drying, firing, glazing)
Confidence to continue making at home
Techniques you can apply to more complex projects
Important:
Your tile will be dried, fired, and glaze fired after the workshop
Default finish: white or green glaze
Optional: leave your piece bisque fired if you’d prefer to glaze it yourself
Pieces will be ready for collection approximately 2 weeks after the workshop
