Accessibility
Everyone is welcome in my studio.
I aim to create a kind, respectful and inclusive space where people feel comfortable learning, making and asking questions.
My London studio is on the ground floor and is wheelchair friendly. There is parking available on site, and there are transport links nearby. There are also places to eat and get refreshments in the local area.
If you are coming for a lesson, workshop or private session and have any access needs, mobility needs, health conditions, sensory needs, learning requirements or other concerns, please contact me before booking or visiting. I am very happy to discuss this with you directly and will do whatever I reasonably can, within the limits of the studio, the activity and what is physically possible, to accommodate your needs.
Ceramics is a hands-on activity and may involve clay, water, tools, glazes, dust, kilns and shared studio equipment. Some activities may involve standing, sitting for a period of time, hand strength, or working at a table. I can adapt many processes, but some activities may not be suitable for every access need.
I am happy to support different ways of learning, including
slower explanations,
demonstrations,
written notes,
visual examples,
repetition
and clear step-by-step guidance.
