Luxury Flower Workshop in Porcelain + Black clay - Saturday 16th August
Discover the beauty of sculpting with luxury porcelain and black clay. This 4-hour hands-on workshop introduces three distinct types of porcelain and teaches you how to build any flower from scratch—giving you the structural logic, skills, and sculptural techniques to approach any bloom with confidence.
In the final part of the session, you'll sculpt a flower from rich black stoneware, offering a striking counterpoint to the white porcelain—exploring themes of contrast, balance, and duality: light and dark, fragility and strength, chaos and order.
Price: £150 per person (includes all materials)
What’s included:
Understanding and using 3 types of porcelain
One black clay botanical sculpture
Guidance in moulds, hand-building, surface texturing, and techniques for realism
Intro to wall-mounting or standing display fixings
Firing of all works to 1260°C with optional clear glaze(for porcelain only)
Take-home PDF covering techniques learned
Optional discounted follow-up session for gold lustre, decals, or further finishing
