About Orli

Ceramic artist, sculptor & educator.

I create nature-inspired ceramic art and teach with warmth,
clarity and care. My work is rooted in texture, form and
timeless beauty—and I love helping others discover the
joy of clay and their own creative voice.

A glimpse inside my studio in London

My Story

Clay has been my constant for as long as I can remember.

My work explores the quiet poetry of nature—petals, leaves,
and organic textures—captured in enduring forms.

I create sculptural flowers, wall pieces and figurative work
that celebrate detail, movement and emotion.

Teaching is at the heart of what I do. I believe anyone can
create something beautiful with the right guidance, space
to experiment, and encouragement.

My teaching ethos

Learning happens through careful guidance, experimentation, and encouragement.

Clarity

I break techniques down into simple, approachable steps — so you can create with confidence from the very start.

Craft

Strong foundations, refined skills and attention to detail help you transform
ideas into meaningful pieces.

Confidence

A supportive space to explore,
ask questions and grow at your
own pace — creativity flourishes here.

Orli’s work explores universal themes within the human experience through a lens that is both personal and poetic. Her practice reflects a dynamic interplay between the inner and outer worlds, shifting seamlessly from the conceptual to the autobiographical—always rooted in curiosity, touch, and play.

Process and material are at the heart of her approach. Working primarily with clay, Orli is drawn to its tactile diversity and emotional resonance. Earthy terracotta, velvety black clay, and translucent porcelain form a palette of contrasts that mirror the complexities of human feeling. Each material becomes an extension of the body and a vessel for visual language.

The natural world is both her teacher and collaborator. Plants, animals, and the quiet intelligence of organic form inform much of her sculptural language. Her porcelain flowers, animals and mythic creatures speak to cycles of growth, decay, and renewal—reminding us that we, too, are part of the same fragile ecology.

For Orli, art-making is a sensual, intuitive, and meditative act—one that offers transformation, healing, and space for emotional release. Her sculptures are physical meditations on themes like mortality, fragility, desire, beauty, fear, and belonging.

Beyond the studio, Orli’s ethos is simple: sharing is caring. Through open teaching, online tutorials, and community workshops, she encourages others to explore clay as a language of touch, empathy, and self-discovery. She believes in demystifying the artistic process, preserving craft knowledge, and nurturing creative communities built on generosity and shared learning.

Through this blend of poetic making and open exchange, Orli’s work becomes both personal and collective—a dialogue between nature and humanity, solitude and connection. Each piece offers a quiet invitation to relate, to feel, and to recognise one’s own story within the form. In that shared space, she hopes the viewer—and the maker—find both resonance and refuge.
