TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions apply to bookings, lessons, workshops, online sessions, digital products, physical products, artworks and commissions purchased from Orli Ivanov.

By booking a lesson, workshop, course, package or purchasing a product, you agree to these terms.

  • Orli Ivanov is a ceramic sculptor and educator based in London, offering ceramic artworks, private lessons, online tuition, group workshops, mentoring, courses and creative products.

  • Bookings are confirmed once payment has been received.

    Dates and times are subject to availability. If you are booking a private lesson, mentorship or custom workshop, the date must be agreed in writing.

    Please make sure the contact details you provide are correct so I can send booking information, preparation notes and updates.

  • Payment must be made before the lesson, workshop, course or product is provided, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

    Prices are listed on the website and may change from time to time. Any confirmed booking will be honoured at the price paid at the time of booking.

  • Gift vouchers, if offered, must be used within the stated validity period.

    Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

    Lost or expired vouchers cannot usually be replaced.

  • The studio is a working ceramics environment. Please follow all health and safety guidance given during your session.

    You may be asked to avoid certain materials, tools, kilns, glazes or equipment unless supervised.

    Please do not eat while handling clay, glazes or ceramic materials unless you have washed your hands and are in a suitable area.

    Please wear suitable clothing and closed-toe shoes where possible.

  • Ceramic work often needs to dry slowly before firing. Finished work may not be available for collection immediately after a lesson or workshop.

    Collection times will depend on drying, firing schedules and kiln availability.

    If postage is requested, this will be charged separately unless clearly stated otherwise.

    Uncollected work may only be stored for a limited time. If work is not collected within 3 months of being ready, it may be recycled, donated, disposed of or used as a studio sample unless otherwise agreed.

  • Ceramics is unpredictable. Clay, glaze and firing results can vary.

    Cracks, warping, colour changes, glaze movement, breakage or firing issues can happen even when the work is handled carefully. These are part of the ceramic process and are not usually grounds for a refund.

  • For online lessons, you are responsible for preparing your own materials, tools, internet connection, device and workspace.

    If your internet connection, device, camera or materials are not suitable, the lesson may still be charged.

  • Digital products, online courses, PDFs, tutorials and videos are for personal use only.

    You may not copy, reproduce, share, sell, teach from, distribute or upload course materials without written permission.

    Access details must not be shared with another person.

  • All images, text, designs, teaching materials, videos, PDFs, course content, artworks, workshop structures and creative processes remain the intellectual property of Orli Ivanov unless otherwise agreed in writing.

    You may use the work you make in lessons for your own personal creative development.

    You may not reproduce Orli Ivanov’s designs, course materials or teaching content commercially without permission.

  • You are welcome to photograph your own work during a lesson or workshop.

    Please ask before photographing or filming other people, the studio, demonstrations or any work that is not yours.

    Orli Ivanov may take photos or videos during workshops for documentation or promotion. If you do not want to be photographed or filmed, please let me know before the session.

  • The studio is a respectful, inclusive and supportive environment.

    Abusive, unsafe, discriminatory or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. If a participant behaves in a way that puts themselves, others or the studio at risk, they may be asked to leaveand no refund will be given.

  • Please tell me in advance about any relevant allergies, access needs, health conditions or personal requirements that may affect your ability to take part safely.

    I will do my best to make reasonable adjustments where possible.

  • You take part in lessons and workshops at your own risk.

    Orli Ivanov is not responsible for personal belongings brought into the studio.

    Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

  • These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. The version available on the website at the time of booking will apply to your booking.
